No mums were harmed in the making of this summer
Well… that was a busy summer! 😅
And thankfully, not too many ups and downs with all the little ones who came through my door for their summer piercings!
No fainting mums this year ✔️
No fainting children either ✔️
Only ONE absolute, adamant refusal 🫣
One lovely young lady decided that, actually, today was NOT the day.
We gave her plenty of time, plenty of encouragement and absolutely no pressure – and when she still wasn’t sure, Mum and I completely supported her decision.
Because a piercing should always be their choice! ❤️
310 piercings later…
Over the summer, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of piercing 310 lovely young people, aged 6–16.
Which, by my calculations, means I’ve got through approximately…
💎 620 sterile needles
🧤 1,240 gloves
🏆 310 bravery certificates
🍬 310 packets of sweets
🍸 And perhaps more post-work gins than I care to admit after some of those 12-hour days…
But I genuinely LOVE my job.
And I love your kids!
