27 Oct Happy Halloween from Enhance Of Cheshire. What will it be – Trick or Retreat?
It has to be Retreat surely? If so read on for how you can retreat yourself this November and beyond.
I’ve been buying the sweets in ready for the trick or treaters. We get so many callers – the joys of being so close to the school. But I really do enjoy it. Not so much the teenage lads in hoodies and on bikes mind you but the little ones are adorable.
I’ve been busy looking after myself more the last few weeks. I’ve had some life stresses that have tested my resilience a little, so I’ve re- routed and made time for MY self care.
I’ve been doing easy things such as; being present in nature when walking, there’s no need to be on the phone! Having a purposeful walk daily… even if it’s only round the block. I’ve booked myself something holistic each week. From yoga to shamanic healing to massage. I’ve been trying hard to sit and read or meditate daily, if only for 15 minutes.
I’m feeling better already and reconnected to myself and empowered.
And now it is your time to get your zen on!
My lovely colleague Helen and I run beautiful evenings of rest in Bramhall. And of course our well known retreats.
So here’s a round up of what we have to offer in date order, and remember – if you don’t make your wellbeing a priority, no one else will.

Bramhall evenings of rest and healing
Join us for a deeply restorative evening designed to nurture your body, mind, and soul. This session weaves together the gentle yet profound practices of somatics, yin yoga, and Reiki to create a space for healing and renewal.
We’ll begin with mindful somatic movement to release tension, connect with your body, and prepare for stillness. Moving into a yin yoga practice, you’ll settle into poses that are held longer, allowing you to gently stretch and open the deeper layers of your body.
As you relax in your final posture, you will be guided through a soothing yoga nidra, a meditative journey into deep relaxation.
During the evening you will be bathed in candle light and receive individual Reiki healing to support energetic balance and overall well-being.
Our evening sessions are perfect for anyone seeking a moment of calm, restoration, and self-connection.
No prior experience with yoga, Reiki, or somatics is necessary – all you need is an open heart and a willingness to receive.
Sessions start at 7pm at Benja Fold in Bramhall priced at £25
